Allegations Shared on Instagram Dacoda Nichole Jones, who likewise did not name Rice by name, posted a set of images on Instagram that appeared to show signs of physical abuse. Jones stated the person involved was the father of her children, and it is known she has two children with Rice, whom the Chiefs selected in the 2023 draft. Official Complaints Reportedly Unavailable No police reports were on file in the Kansas City suburb where the incident is said to have taken place. Player's Prior Legal Issues The receiver missed the initial part of this NFL campaign following an league-mandated ban for his involvement in instigating a multi-vehicle accident on a Dallas highway that left several individuals injured. Rice was given a month of incarceration and five years’ probation after pleading guilty to serious offenses. On the field, Rice finished the year with 53 catches for 571 yards and five touchdowns as the Chiefs finished with a losing record and missed the playoffs for the first time in a ten-year span.
