Trump's Granddaughter Receives Professional Advice from Golf Legend Woods Prior to LPGA First Appearance

Emerging athlete preparing for significant competition

The rising star has impressive social media presence

Kai Trump will have plenty of high-profile cheerleaders when she makes her professional golf debut this Thursday.

This teenage golfer, who is related to a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, operates numerous golf courses and frequently plays against his granddaughter.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we have some close matches," she revealed.

The golfer shared that Trump, who cannot attend, advised her: "Just don't get nervous."

"My grandpa basically told me to play and enjoy myself," she continued.

"In my eyes, he's simply an ordinary family member. He's not attending this weekend. He's focused on world affairs, making him somewhat preoccupied."

While still amateur, Kai has competed in just three tournaments this year and maintains position 461 in the American Junior Golf Association standings.

However she can seek guidance from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Vanessa.

"He is the top athlete worldwide," Kai stated.

"Additionally, he's a more impressive human being. He suggested me to go out there, have fun, and go with the flow."

Kai will face several top competitors in professional golf at the Annika, such as second-ranked the champion, England's Charley Hull, professional Thompson and 2023 champion champion Vu.

The LPGA stated that involving Kai brings golf to new audiences, specifically with younger fans.

The young star boasts substantial online presence and has started a personal apparel and wellness brand.

She begins at 5:30 PM GMT.
